A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of photographing an incredibly adorable little six-month-old. Meet Emilia.
And yes, that's my pick of the 100+ images I took. :) So much story in that picture!
It truly is hard to pick "favorites" though...so here's just a glimpse of all that cuteness!
She looks as if she's just soaking in all that love! |

Awwww. She is such a cute baby!
You did a great job taking pictures of her expressions. Do you have any photography tips for someone with a small camera? Could you do a post on how to take great pictures without a large camera? Also, do you know how to make the background fuzzy and only focus on someone's face when taking a picture? Could you make the background fuzzy with a photo editor site?
Love,
Ashley
Hi Ashley! I've been mulling over your questions. :) If the Lord allows, I'll try to work up a blog post about small cameras. :) I'm thinking about giving examples from my iPhone 4s.
About making the background fuzzy, I know how to do that on DSLR cameras (fancier cameras ;)). It has something to do with the f-stop or aperture, where it basically funnels the focus. However, if you have something like Photoshop, you can duplicate the layer of the picture, put a Gaussian blur on it, and then erase the front image. It takes more work that way.
Don't know if that helps...
