Word Wednesdays #5

"they shall praise the Lord that seek Him:"
(Psalm 22:26)

"From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same
the Lord's Name is to be praised."
(Psalm 113:3)

Every moment of every day should be dedicated to seeking and praising God -- no exceptions are made for circumstances.

Great verses, Amanda, and almost exactly parallel with the verses the Lord gave me this morning.

"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;"

Thankfulness and praise go hand in hand I believe. :-)

Love you and have a blessed day,
~Janell

Thank you for the post and verses, Amanda! :)

Love you!

Thanks for your comment! How neat that the verses go together! I agree with you: we see thanksgiving and praise so very often together in God's Word. It would make an interesting study . . .

See you in a couple weeks, Lord willing!!!!

Thanks for sharing your verse! A memory verse, aye? 1 Corinthians 13 is very good to be reminded of often. :)

Loved your verses, Amanda, and what a blessing to read Patience and Janell's verses as well!!! :)

"All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers.

And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live." Deuteronomy 8:1-3

"O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him." Psalm 34:8-9

Thanks again to everyone for sharing! Word Wednesdays are such a blessing to me! :)

Thanks for sharing your verses! I actually just read Deuteronomy 8 today in my Bible reading. :) Deuteronomy is full of great verses. I couldn't help but notice the reference to manna again. I think we could learn alot from the manna. :)

I'm so grateful that the Lord has blessed you through Word Wednesdays! I am very blessed by the verses everyone has been sharing! Thank you all so much!
