Hm, what level on the piano? Hard to say, but I think I'd be around early advanced. I also play flute (although I can't really right now because of my braces!!) and teach piano to a couple students.
ReplyDeleteWhat level of piano? Grade 8 Royal Conservetory but I play for the fun of it. I did take clarinet in band for 6 years. I taught beginner piano for a few years. Now I play for fun when my friend "makes" me play easy duets with her on her baby grand piano. We're testing out music that she buys to play with her students. I did help her practise the Brandenburg Concereto for 4 people/8 hands/2 pianos once. Wouldn't have been able to do this if I didn't have some decent level of piano.

ReplyDelete@ Olivia - I agree that it's hard to pin-point a level. Just imagine trying to assign levels to songs. :P Yeah... tough. :) Flute is one instrument I began but couldn't really do. It gave me a headache (probably because I wasn't supporting my breath right)
