  1. Romans 5:3-5
    And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
    And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
    And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

    Sanctification is process, and most of it probably occurs through trials and testing, that God uses to teach us lessons that draw us ever closer to Him, but the wonderful part of it is, that we still experience joy through these trials because of the presence and comfort of the Holy Spirit, and we know that it is all for our good, because God loves us.

  2. Love verses that teach us to trust in the Lord!!! Thanks for sharing, Amanda!

    "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."
    ~ Psalm 19:14

    Recently, the Lord has been helping me to think about the words of my mouth. In our last Ladies Bible study, we discussed what foolish talking means and since then God has been bringing me across verses that teach about the fruit of our mouths. How much power is indeed in the tongue and what wisdom we need in wielding it!

    "Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips."
    ~ Psalm 141:3

    Just read through Romans. :) Thanks for your thoughts and verses on sanctification! I think we need that continual reminder.
